Post Patriots Day Thank You!

Picture - B StrongWe just wanted to write and thank you.
Thank you for checking in on us and thank you for supporting Boston and those hurt by the senseless act of violence.

As a Bostonian that for the last two decades has organized a group of 50 or more people to attend the annual 11 am Red Sox game and then head out to cheer on the marathoners, I can tell you that it is always the best day in Boston.

This year was no different. Beautiful weather, a Red Sox 9th inning victory and then kids got to go on the field run the bases after the game. If it was not for our two little ones having a blast, especially our 18-month-old son taking his time to be the last one to jump on home plate, we could have easily been at the marathon finish line, as we have been in years past.

President Obama’s April 15th address summed up things well
“Today is a holiday in Massachusetts – Patriots Day. It’s a day that celebrates the free and fiercely independent spirit that this great American city of Boston has reflected from the earliest days of our nation. And it’s a day that draws the world to Boston’s streets in a spirit of friendly competition.

Boston is a tough and resilient town. So are its people. I’m supremely confident that Bostonians will pull together, take care of each other, and move forward as one proud city. And as they do, the American people will be with them every single step of the way.”

Again, thank you to all
Your kindness and support is truly amazing.

Standing United… it is what makes our country so great and it means a lot to all of us that proudly call Boston our home!
