  • Volunteer consultant & speaker

    Mike has sat on several nonprofit boards and since 2010 has served as a volunteer consultant through Empower Success Corps (formerly known as Executive Service Corps of New England), helping hundreds of charities in New England.  Mike was honored to receive the 2013 Edmund V. Marshall Outstanding Project of the Year Award and was a recipient of the “Above and Beyond Award” in both 2010 and 2011.

  • Catholic parishioner

    Mike is an active member of his church. He is a third-degree member of the Knights of Columbus since 2020. He is a Council Officer, with the role of Inside Guard and is the Editor of the “Anchor” newsletter. He joined the Saints Mary & Joseph Collaborative fundraising committee in 2024. He was a Haiti180 missionary in 2021 and has been a volunteer since 2020. He was a member of the Dynamic Parish Committee for the Saints Mary & Joseph Collaborative in 2020. He has been a volunteer with the St. Vincent de Paul Society food pantry since 2021. Mike volunteered as an overnight chaperone for the homeless and was a member of the Plymouth Taskforce to End Homelessness from 2022 to 2024. He presented on ‘Miracles’ in 2022 and ‘Signs of Heaven’ in 2023. He was a Chair of the 2014 St. Joseph Parish golf outing and fundraiser.

  • Kids’ coach

    Mike became the assistant coach of the Acushnet Fairhaven Bolts AAU 12U baseball team (2023-present.) He was the head coach of the USA Prime Hitmen 11U AAU baseball team in 2023. Mike was a Kingston baseball coach (fall, spring and all-star 2016-2019, 2021-2022) and league coordinator (2021.) He was a Kingston assistant softball coach (2021-2022.) He started the first-ever Kingston baseball and softball clinic, a week-long camp for 2nd to 7th graders (2021-2022.) He was a girls soccer coach (2014-2019), boys soccer coach (2016-2019.) He was a member of the Hilltop Athletic Association (2020-2022) and coordinator of the “Breakfast with Santa” event in 2021.

    Mike is a ‘4 gallon’ blood donor, supporting the American Red Cross, and helped organize a blood drive in 2020. He was a member of the St. Mike’s 25th reunion committee and Chair of the St. Mike’s 20th reunion.

    Mike graduated from Boston College’s Wallace E. Carroll Graduate School of Management, gaining his MBA.  He also graduated from Saint Michael’s College, earning a BS in Business Administration.
